This most recent Loblaw supermarket renovation project in Strathroy ON facilitated the installation of a new RAMAire kitchen exhaust hood system. This energy efficient low flow exhaust system design incorporated a 18′ x 60″ RAMAire kitchen exhaust hood, pre-engineered stainless steel ductwork and an automated DCKV demand control system (c/w rebate from the local gas utility). A seamless collaboration between Jeff McLeod Senior Project Manager @ Loblaws Inc., Atkins Realis (nee SNC Lavalin), Fresher Source Inc., ICON Contractors & Abram Sheet Metal resulted in a state-of-the-art kitchen exhaust system that is future proofed for years to come. These energy efficient supermarket kitchen renovations are paramount for serving the customer and the high demand for prepared take-home meals that have become the industry norm of late.
